The challenge

Design publications that balance information, imagery and brand.

Publication design often involves a mix of detailed content, product information, imagery, editorial features and stakeholder requirements. The challenge is to create documents that feel polished and engaging without losing clarity, accuracy or structure.

Across financial services and commercial real estate, the work needed to balance visual quality with practical production requirements.

I designed publication systems from concept to final production.

I worked across editorial layouts, report structures, magazine spreads, product information layouts and commercial marketing materials.

My role often involved shaping hierarchy, refining visual rhythm, managing image and chart treatment, and preparing files for print or digital delivery.

The approach

Structured layouts with enough room for interest.

The approach varied by format, but the aim was consistent: create publications that were clear to read, polished to look at and practical to produce. I used grids, hierarchy, image treatment and section pacing to keep each piece organised without feeling flat or repetitive.
